A solicitor, Conor Killeen, who was jailed for one year by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for helping to defraud the Irish Press of more than £64,000, was granted bail yesterday by the Court of Criminal Appeal. Killeen was the former partner of solicitor and Irish Press director, Elio Malocco.
Killeen (39) was released on his own bail of £1,000. The court also fixed August 28th for the hearing of an appeal against his sentence.
