LOS ANGELES – Jerry Leiber, who with Mike Stoller wrote rock hits like Hound Dogand Jailhouse Rockfor Elvis Presley, has died in Los Angeles aged 78.
Leiber and Stoller also wrote Stand By Meand Poison Ivy.Presley, the Drifters, Ben E King and Peggy Lee were among the many singers who recorded their songs. – (Reuters)
