Los Angeles - The magazine founded by the late John F Kennedy Jr is to fold. George, which came into being in 1995 to provide an iconoclastic, relaxed look at politics, has failed to win enough of a dedicated audience, despite being relaunched a year ago.
The magazine, whose combination of politics, show business and style features initially attracted prominent contributors and interviewees, was forced out of the market by the increasing competition and shrinking advertising revenue blown in by the first winds of the slowdown of the American economy.
