Lennart Johansson was re-elected to another four-year term as president of UEFA at the UEFA Congress this morning.
The Swede, who was first elected to the post in 1990, was the only candidate.
Later French footballing legend Michel Platini was voted on to UEFA's executive committee, only scraping in by two votes.
Platini, a close confidante and advisor to FIFA president Sepp Blatter, garnered 28 votes of the 51 available, just two votes above the required standard of an overall majority.
