British TV presenter John Leslie was today charged with two counts of indecent assault, Scotland Yard said.
Leslie (37) attended Forest Gate police station in east London to hear the news having left his home in Sheen, south west London, earlier this morning.
Dressed in a light suit and carrying a briefcase, he made no comment except to say "good morning" to waiting reporters.
A file from the Crown Prosecution Service was passed to the Metropolitan Police on Monday.
Former This Morninghost Leslie was arrested on December 5th last year by detectives investigating the alleged rape of a 30-year-old woman at a party in south-west London in 1998 and alleged indecent assaults against two other women on other occasions.
