A jury in the trial of a Dublin book-keeper accused of murdering his wife was sent to a hotel overnight after over two hours of deliberations.

Mr Paul O'Donohoe (44), of Aberdeen Street, Dublin, has pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the murder of his 42-year-old estranged wife, Miriam, at her home in Ashfield Gardens, Mulhuddart, on January 25th, 1997.

Mr Justice Smith told the jury to resume its deliberations at 10.30 a.m. today.
