SO anxious is FF to be ready for the off that selection conventions are now running at about three a week. The MacSharry Committee,, which oversees such matters, is very active - so much so, in fact, that speculation abounds that former Commissioner Ray MacSharry may run himself. Following the launch this week of Eoin Ryan's Bin the Knife campaign it was suggested that FF will end up with Mac the Knife and the Slasher Ryan on the ticket in Dublin South East.
