Australia have paired brothers Toutai and Steve Kefu in the centre for this evening’s closing tour clash with the Barbarians and given the Queenslanders a brief to ‘create havoc’.

Toutai Kefu played at No.8 in Sunday's 21-13 win over Wales and is just one of four players from that match who will start against a star-studded Barbarians at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff.

"Injuries have forced us to make some changes but overall we've picked a team that should live up to the Barbarian spirit," said Wallaby coach Eddie Jones.

"The Kefus are extremely talented and versatile footballers and I'd expect them to create a great deal of havoc in midfield," added Jones.

The Kefu brothers have previously played in the centres for Queensland in South Africa during this year's Super 12 series.

"I didn't think I get a start on tour so to play with Toutai side-by-side in the centres is a pretty special way to end the tour," said Steve Kefu.

Full-back Matthew Burke (ankle), prop Nick Stiles (ankle) and lock David Giffin (shoulder) are all unavailable due to injury.

The Barbarians, coached by former Australia chief Bob Dwyer, are captained by Wales scrum-half Robert Howley and also include former Australia centre Pat Howard with ex-Kangaroos rugby league international Mat Rogers on the bench.

Springboks Percy Montgomery, Breyton Paulse, Stefan Terblanche, Braaraaten, Corne Krige and Mark Andrews, whose side were beaten 29-9 by England on Saturday, are also included.

Australia have lost one-off Tests against both England and France on this tour but New South Wales coach Dwyer insisted they should not be under-estimated.

"It would be harsh to suggest that Australia are not a good side, given that they have just won a Test series against the Lions and taken the Tri-Nations title," Dwyer said.

"Possibly, the game on Wednesday is what Australia need to freshen them up a bit, get the weight of the sheep stations off their back and play the way they can."
