Republic of Ireland winger Mark Kennedy has completed his Stg£2million move to Wolves from Manchester City.
The deal was set up in the middle of last month, but had to be delayed as 25-year-old Kennedy was on holiday.
After signing a five-year contract at Molineux this afternoon, Kennedy said: "It is three or four weeks since I was told Wolves had come in for me.
"My holiday gave Wolves and my agent the chance to get together and work things out.
"It was not a difficult decision to make because once I had spoken to the Wolves manager Dave Jones he made it clear how much he wanted meto sign."
Kennedy is Jones first signing of the summer and the club's chief executive Jez Moxey said: "Hopefully Mark will be the first of several players.
"We are working on another couple of deals one of which is hopefully nearing completion."
Jones added: "I have chased Mark for a long time. It is a big addition to the squad."
