Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert says he has no plans to leave the Catalan club following the warm reception he was given by fans during his side's 2-1 victory over Real Betis at the Nou Camp on Sunday.

The Dutch international, who said last month that continued criticism from Barca supporters could force him to quit the club, was given a huge cheer when he appeared as a substitute for the injured Ronaldinho after 20 minutes of Sunday's game.

Kluivert received an even bigger roar of approval after he scored his first league goal of the season when he bundled home his side's opener three minutes before halftime.

"I'm really happy at having scored," Kluivert told reporters after the match. "But the best thing of all was the reception from the fans.

"When I stepped on to the pitch I felt very comfortable and all I can say now is that I'm not thinking of leaving.

The win pushed Barca up into fourth place in the Primera Liga, four points behind third-placed Real Madrid, second-placed Valencia and six adrift of leaders Deportivo Coruna.
