The Barry Hills-trained filly, backed from 6-1 into 9-2 on course, came with a strong run approaching the final furlong under Michael Hills and comfortably held the fast-finishing Alexander Icequeen by half a length.

Roger Charlton's Kind, sent off the 13-8 favourite, was just run out of second on the line.

Aidan O'Brien, meanwhile, added another possible string to his Royal Ascot at York juvenile squad when Ivan Denisovich recorded a facile success under Kieren Fallon in the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden.
