Gardai in Co Roscommon are looking for two men who stole a substantial sum of money at gunpoint from a business couple.
The two, one armed with a handgun, entered a private house at Moyne Cross, four miles from Ballaghaderreen on Monday morning and demanded that the owners hand over cash.
No one was injured in the incident. The robbers escaped with an undisclosed sum.
Gardaí in Castlerea are appealing to the public for information following the aggravated burglary, which happened just after 9.30 a.m. on Monday.
The men made their getaway in two white cars which, gardaí say, were seen acting suspiciously in the area early the same morning. A white Mitsubishi was later found abandoned close by.
