London - Julian Lennon looked back in anger at his father's legacy yesterday, 20 years after John Lennon was shot dead outside his New York apartment.
Lennon (37), whose father left his mother, Cynthia, when he was four, has accused his stepmother, Yoko Ono, of cheapening his father's legacy. On his website yesterday, he returned to the attack, saying of his father: "Although he was definitely afraid of fatherhood, the combination of that and his life with Yoko Ono led to the real breakdown of our relationship."
