An intended action by the Mayo Fianna Fail TD, Ms Beverley Cooper-Flynn, alleging libel against RTE was mentioned in the High Court yesterday and adjourned for two weeks at RTE's request.
RTE had sought documents from National Irish Bank in preparation for its defence of the action.
Yesterday Mr Kevin Feeney SC, for RTE, told Mr Justice Johnson the position was they had received an affidavit in which there were conditions suggested by NIB. He was taking instructions regarding this and was seeking time.
The judge granted the application for a two-week adjournment.
