A post-mortem was conducted yesterday by Dr William Bennett in St John's Hospital, on the body of Mr Noel Christopher Troy (58) who was found dead at his home on Monday evening. Gardai at Mary Street Station said there was nothing suspicious about the death. Mr Troy was found hanging from a railing in the back yard of his home at Peter's Cell, Bishop Street, shortly after 5.20 p.m.

He had been on bail following a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of his wife, Elizabeth Troy (60), at their home on July 8th last.
