London Irish have signed Canadian number eight Phil Murphy from Heineken Cup runners-up Perpignan.
The 26-year-old was a part of the French side's run to the European final where they lost to Toulouse.
He has won 16 caps for Canada.
London Irish managing director Conor O'Shea said: "Phil Murphy's achievements with Perpignan speak for themselves.
