Lotto winners pick up cheques

Two married couples yesterday picked up their shares of the last two Lotto jackpots.

Two married couples yesterday picked up their shares of the last two Lotto jackpots.

Mr Brendan Daly and his wife Ann from Ballymore Eustace, Naas, Co Kildare, collected half of Saturday night's jackpot of £601,493, taking home a cheque for £300,746. The remaining share, won by a syndicate of gardai, has yet to be collected.

Meanwhile, a retired couple from Waterford collected a cheque for £779,594, half of last Wednesday's big prize.
