A loyalist bandsman accused of causing actual bodily harm to a 49-year-old Armagh man has been granted bail but barred from taking part in parades. Despite RUC objection, Mr Stuart Kevin Brown (18), of Harryville, Ballymena, Co Antrim, was granted bail totalling £1,250 in Armagh Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Mr Brown is accused of the attack on the man, who suffered an eye injury which required 15 stitches. The incident happened on The Mall following a band parade in the city in May. A police officer said Mr Brown had two previous convictions over the last year for riotous behaviour.
