A 53 year old Clondalkin man has appeared at Kilmainham District Court on four charges of raping, and four of sexually assaulting, his nine year old stepdaughter between August 11th, 1995, and June 26th last.
Judge Gillian Hussey returned the man for trial to the present sittings of the Central Criminal Court. Bail has been set at £20,000, but the accused man has not been able to take that up. Judge Hussey continued the bail order, on condition that he stays away from the injured party and makes no attempt to apply for a passport.
