A Scottish man (35) is in custody after drugs a quantity of drugs were seized in Tallaght.
Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit, Clondalkin Garda Station Drugs Unit and Customs Officers seized up to 30 kilos of the African narcotic plant Khat in a house in Donamore, Tallaght.
The man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
This seizure, depending on the result of forensic analysis, may have a potential street value of up to €60,000, gardaí said.
