Gardaí in Donegal are investigating after an 80-year-old man died in a road traffic crash yesterday evening.
The man was killed after the van he was driving hit a fence on the N13 main Letterkenny to Ballybofey Road, near the village of Drumkeen at about 6.45pm.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny General Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
