A 25-year-old man is due before Dublin District Court later this morning charged in connection with a number of serious assaults in Dublin city centre early yesterday morning.
At about 1am, a 31-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds on Grafton Street. He was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries. Gardaí then received a report of a second stabbing incident and an assault on Chatham Row. A second man (35) was stabbed and a 22-year-old female was assaulted.
They were removed to St. James's Hospital and are being treated for their injuries.
A second man in his 20s arrested yesterday afternoon in relation to the incident remains in custody.
