Gardaí are trying to establish what happened to a man (29) found with serious burns in west Dublin this morning.
The man was found lying on the ground at Ballyfermot Road at 12.50 a.m. He had suffered burns to the chest and arm and was taken to St James's Hospital.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination, and gardaí at Ballyfermot are investigating.
