The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast and was taken to Antrim for questioning.
The bomb, placed in a taxi, detonated outside Palace Barracks, in Holywood, Co Down, shortly after midnight on Monday. The Real IRA has claimed responsibility for the attack.
