A 56-year-old man was yesterday remanded in custody for sentencing in November after being found guilty by a jury of buggery and attempted buggery of his nephew over a four-year period between 1980 and 1984.
The man, who appeared at Cork Circuit Criminal Court, had denied 17 counts of buggering his nephew, who was then aged between 11 and 15, at his home in a Co Cork town.
