A man (44) is being questioned by gardaí in Kildare after €100,000 worth of drugs was found in Newbridge.
The arrest was made after a car was stopped in the town last night and found to contain 13 kilos of cannabis.
The Co Clare man is being questioned in Naas and can be held for up to seven days without charge under the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
