A man has been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of police officers in Co Antrim.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of police officers in Co Antrim.

It follows the ramming of a police vehicle with a hijacked bus during rioting last month in
Ballyclare.

The charges relate to disorder in the town after police officers removed loyalist flags on
July 9th.

The man, aged 30, who is also charged with rioting, was arrested in Greenview Drive,
Ballyclare, today.
