A chronic drug addict who hid more than £3,000 worth of heroin in a baby shoe has been remanded on bail for sentence by Judge Frank O'Donnell.

Rodney Durran (24), Wheatfield Court, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to the possession of heroin for supply on August 5th, 1998. Judge O'Donnell ordered a probationary report and remanded him on bail until October 19th, 1999.
