A 26-year-old man was in a Belfast hospital last night after he was shot in both legs in a house in Dunmurray on the southern outskirts of the city. The incident occurred at Glenbawn Drive at around 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Antrim. He was walking along Victoria Street in Carrickfergus shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday when masked men approached him. They took him to Derrycoole Way in the loyalist Rathcoole housing estate in Newtownabbey, where they shot him in both knees.
