A man was taken to hospital last night from Maghaberry prison in Co Antrim suffering from smoke inhalation, following the outbreak of a number of small fires at the prison. There were three fires in all, according to the RUC, who were investigating the incident - one in a cell, another in a waste bin and a third outside one of the cells. The condition of the prisoner taken to hospital was not thought to be serious.
