A man has been jailed for four years by Judge Elizabeth Dunne for the sexual and indecent assault of his step-daughter. Eugene Duff (42) pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault and four of sexual assault on his now 20-year-old stepdaughter on various dates between January 1st, 1987 and March 3rd, 1996. The victim said after the hearing she wanted the defendant named in the media.
Duff has been residing at a north Dublin hostel for the last three years. His four previous convictions include offences under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act.
