Gardaí are investigating the shooting of a man (26) in Drimnagh, Dublin, last night.
The shooting occurred at Kilworth Road just before 10.45 p.m. The victim was in a portacabin outside a house on the road when an armed person entered and shot him. He died on the scene.
The culprit is believed to have left in an orange-coloured car. He is between five foot, 11 inches and six foot in height and was wearing a white top, navy tracksuit bottoms and a woollen hat.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. to contact them at Sundrive Road.
