A Clondalkin man was caught with more than £100,000 worth of heroin, Kilmainham District Court has been told.

Mr Edward Murray (24) of St Ronan's Park, Clondalkin, was arrested at his home on Tuesday by Garda Kieran Hanley and charged with possession and supply of heroin. He was also charged with assaulting a garda and with violent behaviour in Ronanstown Garda Station.

Garda Hanley said he did not believe Mr Murray would stand trial if he was given bail.
