A married man who has pleaded guilty to the rape of Dublin prostitutes has been remanded on continuing bail for sentence by the Central Criminal Court.

Gerard Kelly (30), a carpenter, from Glendale Estate, Leixlip, Co Kildare, pleaded guilty to two charges of raping the women on May 23rd, 1998, in Henrietta Lane, near the city centre and on June 1st, 1998, at the Polo Grounds, Phoenix Park.

Det Garda Patrick Keegan will give evidence at the sentence hearing on January 26th.
