A man (19) appeared in Dublin District Court this morning in connection with the deaths of Pawel Kalite and Marius Swajkos in Drimnagh on February 23rd, 2007.

Sean Keogh, with an address in Vincent Street West, Inchicore, Dublin 8, was charged with the murders of Mr Szwajkos and Mr Kalite, and with one count of arson relating to a motorbike.

The court heard the man was being detained at St Patrick's Institution, and Judge Denis McLoughlin remanded him to appear before the court on June 24th.

Mr Kalite (29) and his friend Mr Szwajkos (27) died after they were attacked on Benbulben Road, a short distance from where they lived.

Last week, a 17-year-old youth was brought before the Dublin Children’s Court and was charged with the murder of Mr Szwajkos on February 23rd. He was remanded to appear to be served with the book of evidence in the case.

The youth had been charged earlier with the murder of Mr Kalite on the same date.
