A man's body has been recovered by fishermen in the Irish Sea.

A man's body has been recovered by fishermen in the Irish Sea.

The body was found in nets by the crew of a Howth-based trawler at around 7.00 a.m.

It was taken ashore at 10.30 a.m. this morning.

Last week a major search was launched after a man was reported to have fallen from a Dublin-Holyhead ferry. The man was not found and the search was eventually abandoned.
