PSNI officers have appealed for help in trying to identify a man whose body was found on the banks of the River Foyle, Co Derry.

A postmortem examination will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death, which the PSNI are not treating as suspicious.

The unidentified man is aged 50 to 60 years, approximately five-feet-ten-inches in height with wispy reddish grey hair.

He was wearing a brown waxed jacket, blue jeans, blue and white checked shirt, black shoes and socks. He also had a set of dentures.
