Man shot dead in Cork city last night

A man was shot dead in Cork city last night. The man, in his 40s, was shot at his home in Thorndale Estate, Dublin Hill, in the north of the city at around 11.15 p.m. He was taken to the Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
