A Romanian national living in Dublin is facing a number of charges of both theft and possession of certain articles after gardaí arrested him on suspicion of tampering with ATM machines.
Appearing before Bray District Court yesterday, Alin Zele (21), Ashfield Park, Terenure, had his case adjourned after additional charges were put before Judge Gerard Haughton.
Mr Zele was arrested on July 28th after gardaí discovered a cash trapping device on an ATM at Church Road in Greystones, Co Wicklow. A cash trapping device works by trapping cash as it exits an ATM machine.
The case was adjourned until September 5th and Mr Zele was released on continuing bail.
