Ms Roisin McAliskey was further remanded in custody by a London magistrate yesterday until next week, when it is expected a date for her extradition hearing to Germany will be agreed, writes Rachel Borrill from London.

Ms McAliskey (25), a community worker from Coalisland, Co Tyrone, is accused of being part of a five member IRA gang which mortar bombed a British army barracks in Osnabruck, Germany, last June. No application for bail was made during the three minute hearing at Bow Street Magistrates' Court, and the magistrate, Mr Ronald Bartle, remanded her in custody to Holloway Prison until January 3rd.
