Henrik Larsson maintained his prolific European scoring record for Celtic as the Scottish club revived their Champions League ambitions with a 3-1 victory over Anderlecht.

The Swede headed his 32nd goal in Europe for Celtic after 12 minutes before young Irish midfielder Liam Miller lashed a shot just inside the post to double the advantage five minutes later.

Roared on by an ecstatic home crowd Celtic, who started the day bottom of Group A, put the result beyond doubt after 29 minutes when Chris Sutton headed in from close range.

Anderlecht improved after the break and Aruna Dindane scored a consolation goal, firing home from a tight angle after Ivica Mornar's penalty had been saved by Magnus Hedman.
