A 57-year-old man who was missing for two weeks has been found  in a wood near Tralee.

A 57-year-old man who was missing for two weeks has been found  in a wood near Tralee.

The man, with an address in London but who had been visiting relatives in west Limerick and in Newcastlewest, was found in Ballyseedy Wood yesterday afternoon during a search by members of Abbeyfeale and District Search and Rescue.

He had been last seen in the area of Kerry General Hospital in Tralee on August 10th and had not returned to his London address.

He was suffering from dehydration and was disorientated but otherwise well, according to a spokesman for the searchers.
