A motorist was fined £25 yesterday for littering after a passenger in his car threw a cigarette butt out the window. Darren O'Sullivan, O'Deveaney Gardens, Dublin, was also ordered to pay £50 costs and witness expenses after he claimed the butt came from a passenger in his car as it travelled along the Navan Road on October 27th last.
