Boxing:Ray Moylette, the only Irish boxes in action on the opening day of the European Championships in Ankara, scored a second round stoppage over Israeli opponent Subhi Amara in their light-welterweight bout.
The 2008 world youth champion proved too strong for his opponent and led 19-4 on the scorecards when the Amara took a third standing count in the second. He’ll now meet Serbia’s Ljubomir Marjanvic in the last-16 on Monday.
