A jury at the Central Criminal Court will resume its deliberations today in the trial of a man accused of involvement in a gangland-style murder in Dublin. Evidence concluded on Wednesday, the fifth day of the trial of Mr Scott Delaney (22), of Palmerstown Park, Palmers town, Dublin, and the jury retired at 2.04 p.m. yesterday to consider its verdict.

Mr Delaney has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mark Dwyer (22), of Foster Terrace, Ballybough, Dublin, on December 14th, 1996, and also denies falsely imprisoning him on that date at Foster Terrace.

The jury reached a verdict on one of the two counts by 6.05 p.m. It was then sent to a hotel for the night.
