A bus packed with villagers fell off a hilly road and plunged into a river in west Nepal today, killing at least 30 people, police said.
The accident took place at Kitti village, about 320km west of Kathmandu, while negotiating a sharp bend.
Road accidents are common in mountainous Nepal where poorly maintained buses ply on hilly roads.
