Regional airline Aer Arann today confirmed it is to invest €3 million and create 35 new jobs when it forms a passenger-handling division at Dublin Airport.

The new service will start by June 1st this year and will manage the airline's check-in, boarding, dispatch and baggage-handling functions.

The airline employs 220 people to service six internal and five British routes.
