The Swansea Cork Ferries company has announced that from July 7th next it will operate a service between Cork and St Malo in France, writes Dick Hogan. The service will be available all year round and have three sailings a week in each direction. It will mainly target the freight market from Ireland to the Continent.
The announcement was made in Cork yesterday by Mr Thomas Hunter McGowan, who will be one of the three new directors of the new service.
