In Lurgan, the cross-border railway line which was closed after a suspicious object was found by the Bells Row crossing has reopened.

The Antrim Road has also reopened after being closed up to its junction with the Cornakinneger Road.

A small number of houses in the Belvedere Manor area had to be evacuated after the device was found.

British army bomb experts also dealt with a second security alert, which was in place in Derry this morning. A controlled explosion was carried out on a suspicious object discovered in the Moss Road area.
