A charter of rights for the 100,000 people on the dole in the North is to be launched today by the Organisation of the Unemployed, Northern Ireland (OUNI). Drawn up in consultation with local jobless people, it will be distributed to service-providers, politicians and unemployed people. "This charter sets out how unemployed people believe they should be treated in order to build a fair society in Northern Ireland, a society where everyone who wants to work has a real chance of getting a decent job," the OUNI co-ordinator, Ms Lynn Carvill, said yesterday.
